Supporting Foster Creativity & Innovation in Ed
As a media developer and learning experience designer, I believe creativity and innovation in education thrive when educators and students are empowered to remix, adapt, and build upon existing resources. My work is grounded in a deep understanding of authorship, intellectual property and open educational resources (OER), where ethical reuse becomes a catalyst for original thinking. By leveraging open content and emerging tools like AI, I design educational experiences that encourage experimentation while navigating the legal and cultural complexities of remix culture. I aim to model practices that make creative freedom not only possible but sustainable and responsible.
My approach emphasizes critical digital literacy, helping institutions and learners shift away from restrictive models toward collaborative, exploratory learning environments. I advocate for transparent use of Creative Commons licensing, fair use doctrine, and source validation to ensure that educational innovation is both impactful and legally sound. Through thoughtful use of OER and ethical remixing, I strive to build learning systems that spark curiosity, invite participation, and reflect the evolving realities of how knowledge is created and shared.
