EAC 585 - Training Delivery Project
This project was the culmination of my study of emerging learning theories, culminating in an LMS-based course built around a selected theory. I applied evidence-based pedagogy for adult learners to demonstrate both conceptual mastery and effective content delivery, and I integrated a prior assignment to create an infographic using an unfamiliar tool. I chose critical social theory because it encourages learners and educators to move beyond surface-level knowledge and question the social, cultural, and political forces that shape education.
Requirements:
This project focuses on choosing and applying interactive technology intentionally by, evaluating common LMS platforms and features, reviewing instructional design models, and creating a Google Classroom course shell aligned to audience, tasks, and social dynamics.
Supporting Foster Creativity & Innovation in Education
By centering technology choices on audience needs, learning tasks, and social dynamics, this project shifts focus from “flashy” tools to purposeful design that unlocks creative pedagogy. Exploring LMS capabilities and building a Google Classroom shell gave me a sandbox for open-ended, collaborative activities aligned with critical social theory. Reviewing instructional design models reinforced an iterative, evidence-based process so I can rapidly test ideas and refine them. Together, these practices foster equitable, innovative learning experiences that empower learners to question, create, and co-construct knowledge.
