EAC 585 - Technology Implementation Plan
For this project I developed a technology implementation plan proposing Miro, a collaborative digital whiteboard, for campus-wide adoption at NC State University to better support cross-disciplinary teaching, research, and student collaboration in alignment with the Wolfpack 2030 strategic goals statement.
Requirements:
This assignment required selecting a specific application and formally proposing it to an institution whose mission and goals are clearly documented. I was required to justify why the application was a good fit, describe how it would be used within existing programs and courses, online a realistic strategy for implementation, and identify weaknesses within the chosen application and propose workarounds.
Supporting Foster Creativity & Innovation in Education
This project supports my educational goal of fostering creativity and innovation in education by positioning Miro as a shared visual workspace for brainstorming, sense-making, and co-creation. Miro makes design thinking and project-based learning easier to facilitate across disciplines and modalities. By grounding the implementation strategy in learning theory and structured change management, the plan demonstrates how intentional technology integration can turn institutional commitments to innovation into everyday collaborative practice.
